NCFMC Young Artist Biennial Auditions and Awards
PURPOSE OF THE YOUNG ARTIST AUDITIONS:
To promote outstanding young artists who are preparing for a concert career.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Open to young artists who are prepared for a concert career in four classifications: Piano, String Instruments (violin, viola, cello, double bass), Woman’s Voice and Man’s Voice. Voice entrants must be at least 25 but not 36, Instrumentalists must be at least 20 but not 29 by June 1 of the audition year. Entrants must be US Citizens and not be nor have been under professional management.
AWARDS:
First Place Prize of $1500.00 in each classification and a performance at a biennial convention
Second Place Prize of $500.00 in each classification.
All awards are at the discretion of Judges and Young Artist Chairman.
AUDITIONS:
The date, time and place for auditions will be announced by the chairman.
