The Student/Collegiate Auditions were held at UNCG, Sunday, February 15, 2015. A first place award of $700 in woman’s voice was earned by mezzo-soprano, Allyson Goff, a student of Dr. Clara O’Brien at UNCG. Ms. Goff is eligible to compete for national awards of a minimum of $3000. A second place award of $300 in piano was presented to Julia Van Patter, student of Dr. Joseph DiPiazza of UNCG. The auditions were coordinated by NCFMC President, Joel Adams, who is also Student/Collegiate Chairman. Dr. Timothy Lindeman, Dr. Judith Howle and Ellen Linton were judges for the event.
